CTC Global Conductors
ACCC® Conductor models are supplied by CTC Global. Revised April 2021. Data sheets for ACCC® Conductors can be found here and click on ACCC® Conductor Data Sheets.
ACCC® Conductors utilize fully annealed aluminum (ASTM B609, AL0) and the composite core conforms to ASTM B987 High Strength grade. ACCC® Conductors have a continuous operating temperature of 180°C with an emergency use temperature up to 200°C. ACCC® Conductor offers high capacity for both reconductor and new build projects.
ACCC® AZR Conductors utilize AT3 aluminum alloy (ASTM B941 and IEC 62004), which improves the ACCC® Conductor heavy ice loading sag capability. AT3 is a thermally resistant aluminum, that exhibits tensile properties similar to the 1350-H19 aluminum used in ACSR, but is resistant to annealing when operating at temperatures above 90°C and up to 210°C. ACCC® AZR Conductors have a continuous operating temperature of 180°C with an emergency use temperature up to 200°C.
ACCC® ULS Conductors utilize a composite core that conforms to ASTM B987 Extra High Strength grade. ACCC® ULS Conductors offer improved sags, and the extra tensile strength is ideal for long span crossings and can further improve the ice load sag capability. ACCC® ULS Conductors have a continuous operating temperature of 180°C with an emergency use temperature up to 200°C.
All of the cable models that Power Line Systems has are posted on this site. If you do not find the cable you are looking for then you can contact the manufacturer and ask them for a cable file (applicationsupport@ctcglobal.com).
