●Online Training - PLS-CADD: Design of Overhead Transmission & Distribution Lines Using PLS-CADD Software

This online variant of our in-person course is a streamline version focusing on some of the more commonly used features and concepts in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE. It will be a lecture and assignment style format and will give students the opportunity to learn the software by using it to complete hands-on project assignments. Please note that some lecture sessions may go slightly past 12PM and we also recommend leaving your afternoons free to work on the assignment projects given in class.

●Online Training - TOWER 101: Analysis and Design of Transmission Towers Using the TOWER Software

This online variant of our in-person course is a streamlined version focusing on the core concepts of TOWER model building and analysis and is more heavily geared towards the beginning tower engineer/designer. A TOWER 201 course may be offered in the future that will provide more advanced topics and delve deeper into tower design theory. This TOWER 101 course will be a lecture and assignment style format and will give students the opportunity to learn the software by using it to complete hands-on project assignments. Please note that some lecture sessions may go slightly past 12PM and we also recommend leaving your afternoons free to work on the assignment projects given in class.

*Note: We are aware of companies offering open PLS-CADD training classes that are not authorized or qualified to provide such classes. Below are listed the only approved training classes offered by PLS qualified trainers. If you are considering attending a training not on this list be aware that software for the training may not be provided and in some cases, the companies providing the training do not even own PLS-CADD. If the course description offers ‘hands on’ training, please be cautious as this probably is not true. Please send any information on such training classes to info@powerlinesystems.com and we will confirm whether or not it is an approved training course.
